Dallas Chamber Symphony

It is the mission of the Dallas Chamber Symphony to engage community audiences and enrich people’s lives by sharing in the discovery, creation, exploration and enjoyment of great music.

Designed to complement the current Dallas Arts scene, our performances serve as a doorway to the symphonic world, giving audiences a chance to experience an orchestra in an intimate setting. The orchestra’s classical series is perfect for music lovers, and the UnSilent Series is best for those who enjoy movie screenings with live music.

Concerts are usually held on weeknights, and are fun and casual. Events typically start at 8pm and last about 90 minutes, including intermission. Richard McKay, the orchestra’s conductor, always takes time to introduce the pieces on the program, so you’ll always know what you’re listening to. Often, performers will take time to visit with guests in the lobby, so if you come early or stay late, you’ll have a chance to meet them.
